( What would Steve want to do to celebrate his freedom? He doesn't feel like there's much to celebrate besides not having to go to school anymore. But instead of school now, he's stuck in a job like this for the rest of his goddamn life until he figures out how to straighten himself out. Without his daddy's help.

Why don't we just...I don't know...do something normal? I mean, I'm not going away to college, so it's not like we need to do a grand farewell to Hawkins. Just, I don't know, burger and milkshakes, dick around at the quarry, one last high school hurrah before I have to at least pretend I'm an adult.
