[ Scoops Ahoy wasn't his first choice of employment. His dad gave him an ultimatum: either get a job over the summer or don't bother coming home. So, since Scoops Ahoy offered to pay him enough to afford his usual array of haircare products, who was he to say no?

It's not the most glamorous of jobs, but it pays, and that's really all that Steve can ask for. His co-worker is annoying and weird and gives him shit because he used to be King Steve, but it's better than not having a job at all, and shutting his dad up, at least for the summer.

He doesn't expect Robin to latch onto his attempts to get dates so enthusiastically. He's not sure what happened, but the girls just don't seem to be into the idea of going out with him as they used to. Maybe it was because Nancy showed up with Jonathan Byers one day and everyone decided if he drove her to him, then Steve must not be as good as he's rumored to be.

Whatever the case may be, he is currently dateless and hating every second of it. And with Henderson gone to summer camp, he doesn't really have many actual friends to commiserate with. He's certainly not letting the kids latch onto his lack of a dating life and torture him about it. Dustin's one thing, but Mike Wheeler? Fuck that.

So, he stands behind the counter during the lull in customers, and waits. There has to be a girl out there somewhere who will go out with him. ]

[Eddie isn't about to question Steve about allowing him to fondle that perfect, tight ass but Eddie does wonder if Steve genuinely enjoys the attention or if he's too horny to actual focus on the idea of another man groping him? As for getting caught? Eddie has been caught doing far worse things than having his hands shoved down the back of a pretty boy's ridiculous work shorts. He's pretty positive that Steve had a few incidents given his rep.

(There is still this voice in the back of the vampire's mind that's hissing that he's being horribly pranked. That Steve is just leading him on or a group of huge homophobic assholes were going to jump out any second and try their best to kick his ass. The Hawkins High pretty boy also has this look in those bright, doe eyes. One that's swirling with pure desire, curiosity and want.

If that isn't enough to make a man cream his pants. Steve Harrington is fucking gorgeous and the cocky bastard knows it. Eddie wants nothing more but to invite him back to his van and get a little handsy with that perfect ass. Give it a few good slaps, finger that virgin hole. ( Steve has no idea what's gotten into him. Maybe it's just that all of these months after the loss of his relationship with Nancy and not being able to convince a single girl to go out with him that something shifted. Or maybe he has always been curious.

Deep down, he knows he should probably be freaking out. Not only is this a guy, this is Eddie Munson. They couldn't be more different, and yet something about that entices him all the same. Besides, Eddie is attractive, and his hands are strong yet still somehow gentle with him, knowing just how to knead his ass like dough to bring out moan after moan from Steve.

All thoughts go right out the window the moment Eddie's lips press against his. It's like the floodgates are now open, and Steve decides that this is what he wants. That Eddie is who he wants. He kisses back with just as much passion as Eddie is giving him, wrapping an arm around Eddie's waist to pull him in closer. It might not be exactly like kissing a girl, but Steve finds that he very much is enjoying it. There's a different kind of ferocity that's exciting and has Steve craving more.
